Kindergarten Preview

Merrick's preschool set up a trip to go check out the elementary school that they will be going to for Kindergarten next year.  We were excited to get to see Kayton while we were there and visit all the different classrooms.  There are so many friends that Merrick gets to go to Kindergarten with and I am excited for him.

2nd Grade Field Trips

Being a 2nd grade teacher gave Nate the opportunity to go on field trips at the end of the school year. One trip was to a house property in Round Valley.

 

The 2nd one was to the Petrified Forest in Holbrook.  

There were so many other trips that they went on and some of them included cool matching shirts.  I wish I could put more about them but I didn't get to go with him.

Bugs

It has taken my boys a long time to be ok with any bugs.  They have come to like roly poly bugs and like finding them underneath our planter box.  

One night, Kayton found a caterpillar climbing on our house.  He had watched a caterpillar turn to a butterfly near the end of Kindergarten so he was so excited to try it again.  We tried to make him a little home but he never changed.  Kayton was really bummed.  He even named him CJ.  Sometimes he still asks if I know where CJ is.

Daddy's phone games

The boys are so obsessed with watching Nate play games, but especially a new one he got that has a lot of Marvel characters battling each other.  They definitely love playing and doing games together.

Kisses for baby

This little boy has been so sweet while I have been pregnant.  Every night and many times throughout the day, he would come up to me and kiss my belly and love on the baby.  He would always look at me right after so that I would give him a hug and tell him thank you.  I think he will be so excited to have his little brother around.

Scooters

The boys have discovered how awesome riding down hills with scooters is.  This time though, they figured out that it's even more fun to do it while sitting down instead of standing.  I think they would have gone for hours if I let them.

We also found another hill that they liked and this time Daddy got to play with them.

Easter 2016

I love our little town and how nice they are to put on these little events for our kids.  We took the boys to the Easter Candy Scramble.  They totally got enough candy to last them for months and they were nice enough to let me get a picture of them with the Easter Bunny.

Park time

I just love that they are becoming buddies and play so well together.  Here is Kayton helping me push Merrick in the swing.  Almost every time Merrick a good push he would yell out a "Woohoo"  or something cause he was so excited he got to go high.  

He couldn't contain his excitement.
