Christmas Eve

We were in Show Low for Christmas Eve. During the day, we headed out to see my friend from high school who was in town for the holidays.  She lives in Oklahoma so I haven't seen her in a while.  It was so good to see her.
Later that night, we went to the Whipples house for an Italian dinner.  Richelle and her family have a tradition to eat homemade lasagna and meatballs on Christmas Eve since they are Italians. It was delicious and it was nice to be with family friends that night.
When we got home, we started our traditional night activities of opening our pajamas. Kayton got some Ninja Turtles pajamas and Merrick got Avengers pajamas.
One of my favorite traditions is watching the Polar Express before bed. The boys like it and it's a great one for Christmas Eve.
Then, Santa came while we were sleeping. I loved our tree this year and I felt so blessed for the things we were able to get and give to our children.
We set up the air mattress in the living room so that we could make sure that the boys woke us up before opening presents
