Merrick got to do t-ball as his summer activity. I was so excited to watch him and he did so great with it. He was on the Mustangs team and got to play against some of his friends on other teams. The way they play at this age is that they hit the ball and run to first. The team in the outfield has the kids run to see who will get to the ball first and then they practice throwing it to only first base. There were no outs and everyone bats once. Merrick loved getting the ball and throwing it. He was so excited every game and we loved watching him.

| There were a lot of times that Merrick of course didn't get the ball after the other team hit it, so he would do something like throw himself on the ground and pout for a tiny second then he would get up and continue on. I got a kick out of it and always wanted to see what kind of position he would be on the ground. |
