Let's Go Fly A Kite

Once in a while we get to go to the park with my brother and sister and this time we had a kite.  The boys thought it was so fun.  They thought they were so cool when they got to hold it by themselves. They also tried to chase it and catch it but they gave up after a few times since it was too high.   

The Secret Garden

Wow.  What a great musical production this was.  Nate got asked to play in the orchestra pit for the high school musical The Secret Garden.  I had never seen it as a musical, that I remember, and I thought they did a really good job with it. I almost didn't go, but I decided and I am really glad I did.   I didn't know what to expect, but it was more singing than talking.  I only knew a few of the kids in it and I kindof wished that I was down in the pit with Nate.  Someday when the kids grow up I may do it with Nate.

Family Dinner Date Night

I have been wanting a night out for a while now, but I felt bad leaving the kids with a babysitter one more time this week so we decided to do a family date night.  We all went to Grumpy Jakes BBQ which always deliver on amazing food.  The kids actually liked it so it was a success. 

Easter

It was a busy weekend to say the least.  Saturday ended up being our Easter Egg Hunt activities.  Pinedale was all ready to go for kids so I went out there with the boys.  I ended up helping my step dad with something that morning so my mom took the kids on the Easter egg hunt with my sister and they had a blast.  They came back with a lot of goodies.  I guess they also had a little train thing that was pulled around by a 4 wheeler that they enjoyed too. 

After the egg hunt was done, the library also had a cookie decorating session set up along with reading of some Easter books.  It wasn't anything spectacular but the kids sure enjoyed putting their sprinkles on the cookies and having fun with it.  

Easter morning was at our house.  The Easter Bunny came with all things Planes.  They got  the movie Planes and new airplane toys from the movie.  They also got a toy sword and some m&m's.  I couldn't get them to eat a nicer breakfast so they ate cereal and I made crepes for Nate and I.  Oh my it was yummy.  Then we went to stake conference that day and had some really great talks about Easter and the Resurrection. 

After stake conference, we headed out to Pinedale to have dinner with the family.  We helped cook dinner and they boys got to play outside for a little bit with the dog and I got a few cute pictures of them in their Easter outfits.  We had a great meal and then came back home with sleepy, grumpy boys. 

 We know he lives and that we will be together forever because of it.  Jesus is the reason for the season.  Happy Easter everyone. 

Fun With My Camera

So I have my new camera, and I have just loved going picture crazy on it.  Mostly trying to take updated pictures of things and I took some at Rachelle's wedding just so I can try to learn my camera a little more.  Well, here are some of the ones I have taken that were just for fun. I know they aren't amazing things, but I hope that I can keep learning to be a better photographer.
