We had big New Years Eve plans. At first. A bunch of Campus Heights friends from when we were at NAU planned a get together so we could all hang out since like 4 of the families were here near our house. Due to kids and wives being sick, plans being changed, and different things it ended up being us, Derik Whipple, and Joe Jarvis. They didn't stay for very long, but it was nice to see them and catch up and also do some reminiscing while enjoying pizza. So fun.
Since that ended earlier than planned, we continued on the night with Rachelle and Shad coming over after the kids went to bed. We had a movie night and we introduced the movie Avengers to Rachelle. The movie ended like 20 minutes to midnight, so we popped open the sparkling cider and got all ready to watch the ball drop on tv.
We were tired, but we had some laughs and enjoyed having someone to share the moment with instead of just going to bed like last year. Happy New Year everyone!
